Summer Camps

Following the unprecedented heatwave here in the Lower Mainland, school happily finished for the year and planning for our annual summer camps was wrapping up. Starting Monday, July 5th, 20 campers headed to Blundell Elementary (our Day camp home base) to begin the first of six weeks of summer fun. Each week has a theme: week 1 is Fun with Friends, week 2 is Under the Sea, week 3 is Detective Work, week 4 is Animal Fun, week 5 is The Olympics! and week 6 is Video Games and Super Heroes. Each week campers will have outings to places like Centennial Beach or a local berry farm or one of the many local Splash Parks. During the outings, extra staff support makes sure kids have lots of supervision. Indoor activities include creating Shark puppets during Under the Sea week, or a mysterious activity called Mission Impossible during Detective Week. Every day, healthy snacks are also provided so campers are relaxed and well fed. Finally, for those families who need a full day of support, we also offer Before and After Camp Care. Can you imagine all the fun and memories the children are creating together?
